Celine Jaggernauth

Editor · Writer · Feminist scholar
CJ

Celine Jaggernauth is a feminist editor, youth activist, and published writer from Trinidad and Tobago. Her work sits at the intersection of gender and development, decolonial epistemology, and the literary and visual arts — and she brings that same critical, situated attention to every manuscript she works on.

She holds an MA in Development Studies from King's College London and a BSc from the University of the West Indies, St Augustine. In 2023, she presented at the Global Education in Emergencies Data & Evidence Summit in Geneva, where she spoke on the importance of community-centred data collection and the inclusion of young people as key stakeholders in crisis response.

As a published writer and creative, Celine understands the manuscript from both sides of the editorial relationship — the vulnerability of the draft and the discipline of revision. Her editorial practice is shaped by the conviction that where you write from is as important as what you write.
